Actions Taken:

1. B. Nadler discussed the reallocation of $17,094 remaining from previous capital authorizations (Article 13 of 1999 and Article 25 of 2001) to be used for the purchase of computer equipment and possible Public Library improvements.

2. B. Puritz presented activity to-date regarding the rehabilitation of the Community Center. J. Bargmann of Bargmann Hendrie + Archtype, Inc. presented options to the restoration or replacement of the Community Center. Funding for designs of a full renovation of the Community Center will be sought at the Annual Town Meeting.

Votes Taken:

1. MOVED by D. Hearne, and duly seconded, that the minutes of the March 14, 2005 Capital Outlay Committee meeting be accepted. VOTED in the affirmative, 4-0-0. Motion is CARRIED.

2. MOVED by J. Roach, and duly seconded, that the unexpended balance from the Board of Library Trustees previous capital authorizations be reallocated for the purchase of computers ($10,000) and that the remainder to reallocated for Public Library maintenance ($7,094). VOTED in the affirmative, 4-0-0. Motion is CARRIED.
